All over the world there are worshipers who understand that worship is more than songs and cd‘s. Hearts encountered by God‘s holiness and mercy have been drawn into an intimate relationship with him. Out of this relationship we try to express worship from our heart so that our words and actions have integrity. Then our entire lives become an offering whether we sing, dance, paint, heal the sick, feed the hungry, befriend the marginalized or take out the trash. It‘s how we show that we love him. From the inside out.
This is the essence of what we're exploring as a global community of like-hearted, like-minded worshipers. We're not as concerned with how our worship looks or what it sounds like, what denomination or ministry we belong to, or which country we live in or language we speak. We're far more concerned with worship that is real, honest and pleasing to God.
Our real name is Inside Out Network. We're a non-profit organization which means the money we make has to go back into the purposes of the organization which for us means building and encouraging community amongst like-hearted, like-minded worshipers around the world.
For over thirty years, Vineyard Music has been dedicated to bringing great new worship songs to the church, many of which have been recorded by artists such as Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James, Third Day and D.C. Talk. Born within local Vineyard churches, many of these songs have been warmly embraced by worshipers worldwide. As part of their commitment to embracing the value of worship and empowering local church worship leaders, Vineyard Music recently launched Varietal Records. The label will serve as a pathway for great songs and talented, passionate worship leaders as Vineyard introduces these dynamic voices to churches across the country and around the world.
In 2006, Vineyard Music launched Varietal Records, an artist-driven label which provides a great vehicle for Vineyard artists. The first artist signed to the label, Jeremy Riddle, released his debut project, Full Attention, in March of that year. The launch of that record followed the extremely successful release of Riddle's first single, Sweetly Broken, which was the #6 most-played song of 2006 on AC Christian radio, with over 2.5 million impressions.
"The success of Full Attention was a great start for Varietal," explains Casey Corum, Vice President and Chief Creative Officer. "Through this label, we are able to introduce these incredibly talented, humble worship leaders to a much larger audience. The role of Varietal is to blend the best of Vineyard Music's unique tie to the local church with a stable of compelling 'Vineyard Voices' that will bring a fresh new face and sound to the entire Vineyard Music family.
As Varietal Records has continued to build its roster of artists, the breadth of styles alive within the local church community has become more and more evident. Some artists like Chris Lizotte, Ryan Delmore and Sheri Carr have been in the Vineyard Music family for years. Others are very new, up-and-coming voices that will shape the future of worship music in the Church. Through this unique blend of voices, Varietal hopes to both capture the modern voice of worship and inspire new worship expressions.
WorshipTraining is the worship education arm of the PraiseCharts family of websites. The WorshipTraining website exists to serve the international, interdenominational 21st century Christian community as a Worship and Arts Training, Resourcing and Development network. We have many voices that contribute to our world, from across the church spectrum, that focus on what we believe to be “essentials” related to worship. Our Learning Director is Dan Wilt, M.Min., whose bio information is offered below.
We are committed to building…
The whole Church – in all its diversity, internationally
The ancient-future Church – with all of its riches, both past and present
The contemporary Church of the 21st century – with its strengths and challenges in a postmodern world
in its understanding and expressions of gathered worship.
WorshipTraining plays host to a wide variety of worship traditions denominationally, historically, theologically and in practice. For that reason, our focus is not on primarily on perpetuating a theological statement, or defining our work in light of distinctives that separate us from others who do not hold them.
We are not a church, but are rather a “resourcing and training website,” supporting local church worship ministries with a wide variety of courses and materials.
Vineyard Resources is a not-for-profit ministry of Vineyard USA that exists to equip the church to change the world.
