beyond our community

Not only has God called us to share His “Good News” and be His light with those around us here in Lanlgey,   we’ve also been charged to “Go out into all the World…” and do likewise.

Often though, getting outside the North American culture we see life in with a very different set of eyes.   While we do want to share the “Best News” we have with everyone, we can’t ignore the needs or injustices we might see right before us.   We want to do both…sharing the words of Jesus, but being his hands and feet as well.

Whether its teaching english in a foreign country, working in an orphanage in India or even being involved in an initiative to bring clean drinking water to a community in the Philippines; not only will they make a difference in the lives of people but we believe that we’re making a difference because we’re being responsive to the heart of God.

Our hope is to invite, inspire and inform you of the various ways that we are engaging with God’s heart as he expresses it to us for the world around us, beyond Langley.   Really pray and consider how God may be asking you to respond.    Maybe its to pray, maybe its to go, it might be to help resource financially….or simply to send a card or an email to someone who’s gone out.
